PacFAA’s Annual Pacific Island Financial Aid Training
  • Project Objective: To ensure equitable access to financial aid expertise for under-resourced institutions in the Pacific Island region during a period of major regulatory transition.
  • Executive Summary: The Pacific Island Training Initiative was established by the Pacific Financial Aid Association (PacFAA) to address the critical need for institutional support in the Pacific Island region (Guam, Federated States of Micronesia, Palau, American Samoa, Marshall Islands, and the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas). Triggered by the complexities of the FAFSA Simplification Process in 2024, the initiative provides on-site, personalized expertise to financial aid administrators navigating sweeping federal policy changes. Led by Jeff Anderson, PacFAA President (2023-24), Past President (2024-present) , the program ensures that regional institutions—regardless of formal membership—have the tools necessary to administer Title IV aid effectively.
